Way to Change the Default Character?

Sorry if this is kinda a dumb question, but I was wondering if you could change the default character from a script. I know this can be done with Game Settings, but I would like to do this with a script

You could just assign the player a new character

player.Character =

Roblox takes care of the rest

Ok thanks, I just started scripting on roblox, and the api is kinda confusing to look through
