Okay so I’m trying to build something but the moon is too bright. Is there a way to dim its highlights or make the material I’m building with toggle reflections?
In Lighting have you changed the brightness? also in materials or the parts properties there is a reflectance … and you can change the decal of the moon to something else… but I do not know that know that will change the brightness
you could mess with these
or change the angle
I tinkered around for a bit and I don’t think there’s any practical solution to dimming the highlights. Turning the brightness does rid the highlights but it also just makes the entire map dark, which isn’t ideal. The material I’m using is metal and the reflectance is already at 0.
I think the only solution to this might be a pbr texture that doesn’t bounce 99% of the light from the moon/sun.
mmm, maybe change the material to other then metal? also when you changed the brightness, did you also change the lighting color settings to white…
but like you say, I have also gone crazy trying to get rid of that glare and still have colorful bright materials…
