Currently the only way to disable Team Create is to use the Team Create studio widget, but if you get stuck in the infinite loop of “Sorry can’t connect to team create”, there’s no way to turn Team Create off and edit the place as a normal place. Sure, you can save the place as a local copy, but then you lose access to your datastores, the other places in the universe, and can’t publish to the place on the site (I’ve tried this – it just closes the current file, opens team create, fails to connect, and no changes are saved)
Edit: “Infinite loop” turns out to be not-so-infinite. I was getting an error like “unable to replicate pluginmouse”, even with all of my plugins disabled, but when I restarted studio, I was able to enter the place just fine.
It’d be great if we could turn Team Create off from the site in case a problem like this arises where we can’t connect to Team Create in studio.
