This section of the handbook is dedicated to questions that are frequently asked by community members (including staff & hotel guests). If you have a question that is not listed in the assortment of questions and answers below, you are welcome to contact a higher-ranking staff member that resides in the department you are in virtue of assistance from.
How do I work in a department?
To work in a department, the simplest option is to apply. Your application will be graded by the heads of departments and they will come to terms of your application status. Upon passing, you will be acquainted with your departmental duties.
How do I rank up at training sessions?
Ranks Trainee through to Security are eligible to attend a training session and obtain a promotion through passing. As a trainee, to rank all the way up to Senior Staff; you will need to attend training sessions to receive a promotion to the next rank.
When are sessions hosted?
Shifts and trainings are a randomized process and are announced whenever a member of the MR+ team is available to host. They do not take place at designated times to allow all members of the community to attend at any time of day.
Can I have safe-chat and be a MR/HR?
To be a member of the MR+ team, unfortunately, safe-chat is not prohibited. This is to corroborate that all members of the MR/HR team are over the age of 13 years. We do not use safe-chat as a distinct way to determine if a user is underaged, however it gives us a basic idea of who is more likely to be under the age of 13 and who isn’t.
Where can I locate staff information?
We have a particular trello board that provides a workspace for public Waypoint boards, one of those boards contains all the information you will need to thrive as a staff member. This contains all our regulations and links to our guides.

What are weekly meetings?
Meetings are a weekly event that occurs every week and hosted by the Co-Owner, neptunesstic. We cover vital topics, upcoming group adaptations, recaps any announcements or messages and keeps the community up-to-date with everything they need. One of the objectives of the meetings is to allow users without Discord to communicate and be made aware of the messages/ announcements that communication server users will already be aware of.
At the end of each meeting, promotions are awarded to users who display the right attitudes to the rest of the community and those who are worthy of recognition.
I don’t have access to the communications server, where can I find staff information?
To allow all our staff members to feel included and supported, the Waypoint corporates have created a detailed trello board that is tailored towards all the information and guidance dire for staff to recognize and understand. Please review the board below and click on all the necessary cards to find the answers to your questions.
