Actually, what I can say, I’m happy it’s popular but the genre is now overused. The UIs are an essential part of making a game memorable. If they look bad to the player, they will think the game is just low quality.
Let’s say a new player to Roblox joins your game. They may want it to look modern, high-quality. But today these games are just a copy-and-paste thing, and you just have to be lazy and use AI which makes it look very copy and paste thing, meaning it could also destroy the game’s quality. the quality of the thumbnails is very important! Older players usually don’t play games that seem generated with AI (I hate it too).
Now let’s say an older player joins the same game (this person was new some 8 years ago). The player’s interests are influenced by many things. They usually ignore a genre they don’t like or hate. They usually ignore low quality thumbnails (so what I was saying, it’s an essential part when the players discover the genre or the platform itself). Line games, simulators, tycoons, copy and paste games, AI generated games. I hate them because they don’t seem unique and original.
