Rules/Regulations
- Do not advertise. Publically asking members to join/play a group/game is advertising.
- No Roleplaying
- Do not pretend to be a staff member (teacher/choreographer/judge)
- Do not fight with other members or encourage fights.

- Do not troll or annoy other players.

- Do not talk about your personal life publicly. It’s not safe and not our business.
- We keep our group wall clean. Any drama/spam/advertising gets deleted.
- Ranting on the group wall can result in a kick from the group. When a member is kicked we have the option to delete everything they posted and this is the quickest way to clean up. You may rejoin after a kick but repeated offences may result in a permanent suspension from the game.

Warnings
Dancers can get warnings for failing to follow directions, being rude, exploiting, hacking, spamming, not following ROBLOX terms of service/rules, and being disruptive. After three warnings, dancers get respawned out of your class. If they continue to be breaking the rules, the owners or HR will be notified, to kick them from the server. Further disruption will result in a suspension (a temporary ban) or explusion (permanent ban).
Classes, Casual Competitions, Exams, Auditions, Minigames, and Showcases
CLASSES:
Classes are hosted by WDA staff members, usually teachers. In classes, you can participate in learning experiences and activities that teach you how to dance.
Classes will be announced in the group shout and there will be a countdown in-game before a class begins. At the end of classes, depending on the level; everyone who participated will be awarded a point.; as long as you participate and try your hardest, you will receive a point.
- If you are AFK for the majority of the class, you may not earn a point.
CASUAL COMPETITIONS:
WDA staff members can host competitions once every 2 weeks. They can last up to 1 hour and will be a fun learning experience. To participate, you must arrive on time otherwise you will not be included. Just like classes, competitions are announced in the group shout and a countdown will begin before the event takes place.
The winner of competitions may be given a point or 2 as an award depending on the level of the competition. Win lots of competitions to be recognized by staff for your skill!
EXAMS/TESTS:
Exams happen 2 times a week. Exams are very strict and there is no talking allowed throughout the exam. Dancers who wish to take the exam must arrive on time or they will not be permitted to take the exam. A player who is AFK( Away from keyboard) for too long during an exam can be respawned and will not receive credit for the exam. People who pass the exam can be given up to 3 points. Thus, making exams very important.
AUDITIONS:
Auditions can be hosted by all staff members for teams or dances they decide to create. An audition will be announced in group shouts before they start. If you arrive late for an audition you cannot participate. Points will not be given out for auditions. If you don’t make the cut be a team player, there’s always next time.
MINIGAMES:
Minigames are fun short games that can be hosted in class. Minigames aren’t meant to be competitive. Minigame winners MAY or MAY NOT receive points depending on the minigame that is being hosted, after all, this activity is just for fun, but give it your all! It shows your competitive spirit.
SHOWCASES:
Showcases are extremely laid back events where dancers will be selected to perform for staff members and the majority of the server. There are no actual awards for a showcase (such as points or ranks) this event is just for fun, it’s also an opportunity to show others what you are really made of!
Competitive Competitions
Competitions are hosted by the owners of WDA (oBrxanna and oNovastar). They can last up to 1-2 hours and are a great way to make connections with staff and elites. To participate, you must arrive on time otherwise you will not be included. These competitions will be announced a week in advance on Twitter.
Winners of competitions may be given points or an award depending on the level of the competition. Winning lots of competitions can help you get recognized by staff and the devs for your skill!
Finals
WDA FINALS are a seasonal event that happens during the fall/winter season and spring/summer. In order to participate in Finals, you must register on the final forums that will be released on Twitter and Discord. If you don’t make it to your registered time you will not be able to compete. Days will be set specifically for beginner, intermediate, and advanced solo dancers, as well as duos and trios/big group dances.
Winners of finals will receive a trophy and a free sweater marking the season, year and genre they won in. Winners may also receive a rank up and their dance will be posted on twitter. Finals are meant to be competitive but don’t only play to win, have fun as well.
Semesters and Graduation
Our Academy is broken into 2 semesters, each semester has 2 finals in each. In order to graduate, a dancer must attend finals and pass their exams. Graduating consists of a dancer being promoted to a higher position based on their skill level. This gives new dancers the opportunity to skip certain ranks if they prove their worth.
How to become Staff
Staff are chosen when they are in high demand, making it a prestigious job to obtain. Staff are handpicked by the developers. In order to become a staff work hard as a student and rank up. Show your talent and creativity. The only way to become a staff is by becoming a platinum dancer. Platinum dancers are almost always the first picks. On very rare occasions, an elite with immense talent may be chosen as staff instead of becoming a platinum dancer. So work hard and show your worth at WDA!
