These are the the listed rules of the We Make Games on Roblox.com Discord Server.
(All of these rules apply in the Voice Channels as well)
Section 1 - Common Sense
This section will be covering the things we consider to be common sense, there are simply things anyone should know are wrong, things such as:
Hate speech/Toxicity
Spamming
Profanity
NSFW
- 1 - Racism - This should go without saying but do not be racist in any way, shape or form towards anyone in our Discord server, doing so may result in a permanent ban from our Discord.
- 2 - Sexism - In the same regards to racism, you should not in any way poke fun at someone for their gender, or anything of the sort.
- 3 - Toxicity - This one is very simple, do not be mean or rude to other people. There is no excuse for this, and you may be removed from the Discord for this as well.
- 4 - Profanity/Cursing - We do allow curse words, as long as they aren’t used to harass, or belittle someone. Excessive use of profanity is still barred, and you may be asked to stop. Racial and ethnic slurs are NOT allowed.
- 5 - Spamming - This is a very obvious one but DO NOT spam any channel of the Discord, your doing so, will result in a ban.
- 6 - NSFW - Do not talk about anything regarding NSFW content in any channel, especially #general.
- 7 - Arguments - Arguments posed in a constructive manner are appropriate for this Discord, however do not let it get out of hand. If an argument devolves into yelling and harassment, it will be dealt with appropriately.
- 8 - Channel Topic - Please keep discussions in channels focused towards the channel topic. If a discussion in a topic-oriented channel is getting off track, please take it to #general.
Section 2 - Politics, Religion, Etc.
Anyone with any religion, or political beliefs are allowed to be within our Discord, but that doesn’t mean it’s alright to discuss them, and argue over them here. This is a ROBLOX Discord server.

- 1 - Politics - A ROBLOXian Discord server is not the place to be talking politics, if you want to debate with someone over a political matter, take it to DMs, or you may be banned.
- 2 - Religion - Do not start conversations about religion in any channel, this topic is prone to start arguments that shouldn’t be in our Discord server.
- 3 - Other Polarizing Topics - Anything that starts a big debate, or argument should immediately be taken to DMs, or just needs to end. This isn’t the place to talk about things like this.
Section 3 - Personal Information
This section is going to cover personal information, this isn’t something you should be giving away to people in our Discord server.
Do not give anyone your home address, your phone number, your password or any other information that could be used to identify one’s person.
Leaking, or “doxxing” another community member will result in community exile, involving a ban from the Discord and all of our games.
Section 4 - Discord TOS and Advertising
It shouldn’t come as any surprise but we must follow the Discord Terms of Service.
- 1 - TOS - Respect all elements of the Discord TOS and guidelines throughout your time on the server.
- 2 - Self-Promotion - This is a Discord structured around the We Make Games development ecosystem, and we prefer to keep it that way. Please use other mediums to advertise your services, groups, or other organizations.
Section 5 - Staff
If you are interested in becoming a staff member, read the FAQ and be a good and active member of the community, and we may notice you.
Exploiting/Breaking In-game Rules
Admin Abuse/Problem with Staff
Listen to Staff at ALL times
- 1 - Exploiting - If someone happen to be exploiting the game in a very bad way, and the server is in dire need of a moderator you may Ping(@) an online moderator.
- 2 - Breaking any other in game rules - If you see someone spamming, or sending phishing links in game, the best thing to do would be report them to ROBLOX. If a mod is in your game, they will handle it.
- 3 - Admin Abuse - If you believe a moderator has abused his powers you may report them to an administrator, or in dire situations a Developer. Do not scream about admin abuse in general chat. Doing so will only hinder the process.
- 4 - Listening to Staff - Always listen to the staff members, odds are they know what they’re doing, once again if you think one has done something wrong, you may report them to an Admin+.
- 5 - Minimodding - Please do not attempt to be a staff member yourself. If you see someone breaking the rules, alert a staff member. Taking matters into your own hands and enforcing the rules yourself will result in you both being punished.
Section 6 - In-Game
This section covers some things we disallow in-game.
- 1 - Exploiting/3rd Party - We do not allow exploiting or external modification of clients running Mining Mission. If you are caught modifying your game in any way, you will be granted community exile.
- 2 - Farming Time - We placed the leaderboards in the game to grant players who input an extraordinary amount of time and effort a medium to show off their dedication. Players caught illegitimately manipulating this system will be punished.
- 3 - Gameplay Interference - Interfering with or otherwise trying to derail other players’ gameplay experience will be met with punishment.
Appendix 1 - Punishments
These are the punishments community members can face for violating our rules, listed from lowest degree of punishment to highest.
- Warn - Places an entry on the user’s permanent record in the Discord. If the user receives 3 warnings in 1 hour, they will be muted for an hour. In addition, if a user receives 5 warnings in 3 days, they will be muted for an hour. Example infraction: Channel misuse
- Mute - Prevents a user from typing in any channel. Example infraction: Spamming caps
- Kick - Removes a user from the server. Example infraction: Repeated mute/warn offenses
- Ban - Removes a user from the server indefinitely, can otherwise be given a time. Example infraction: DM advertising
- Community Exile - Permanent removal from the Discord, permanent ban from all WMG titles. Example infraction: Exploiting, doxxing
