Uh, so I started remaking my website for a group that I’m making with my friends.
The group is about some random penguins and I’m trying my best to make it look great do I have a little bug.

As a web developer with over 26 years in the business, Id have to say well., Ill just stop here and wish you good luck. Have you heard of Wix or any other template-based website builder. lol The attempt and experience are all that matter good on ya for doing it yourself.
Yeah i know about wix and the other platforms, but i love to code websites my self. I use Angular CLI for it and it’s doing a great job for me. I tried to use Wix or Editor X but this bringed me joy.
For what you doing, I would recommend put a blur behind each item or just the image in general, so the list can be easily readable.

learning it its enjoyable. Finding new methods and new ways to build was always fun for me but then again I was around when code was first being developed. the design needs work honestly. its too busy, as in the Penwings are too much and drown out your content. sleek web design comes over time but there are a lot of informative videos on line that can teach you about how to design a eye catching site without being to explosive with your content.
One of my very first websites is RedRum dot com and that was when people still used Netscape navigator lol.
Don’t really know. I always love to code and program so that’s why I like this.
The problem I still see is the one of contrast. Even after you supplied the blur and the change of text colors, the text is still hard to read, and its because the colors don’t contrast very well with the text. Making the background slightly whiter would definitely benefit here.
Also, I recommend having a consistent color scheme for your page, and really think about why you are using the colors you are using. Since you have penguins in your page, why not use colors of white and black, which can look good and keep the color scheme consistent.
Those are my two cents. there are other things I could mention, but those are the two I think you should really consider.
