The Roblox website has not been functioning properly on Firefox for a few weeks. Elements can get stuck in a loading state forever and asset uploads fail in some cases. This issue affects every Roblox URL (Besides DevForum) on PC and Mobile.
The problem persists despite clearing my cache/cookies and disabling extensions. It can be reproduced in a Firefox private tab or in other Gecko powered browsers such as LibreWolf or Mull too.
I am so happy this is mentioned! I’ve had this happen to me every time I use Roblox’s website. I’ve tried setting a new Firefox profile, disabling extensions, clearing caches etc but it never seemed to fix the issue.
This has been driving me insane for well over a month now - it started happening out of the blue and only got worse from there. At this point it’s at least a 1 in 2 chance to happen on any new Roblox page I open, and the only solution (if you could even call it a solution) I’ve found is to just spam Ctrl+F5 until it eventually decides to load properly.
That’s what I have been doing for a while but a hard refresh is a hit or miss. It doesn’t always work because the issue has nothing to do with website caching
i’ve been dealing with this for probably 5 months now, always thought it was a me thing and never thought to try another browser somehow. im glad its not just me and hopefully this can get solved
For anyone still encountering this, can you share a screenshot of your browser console? (Right click → Inspect → Console). Make sure to block out anything sensitive.
And please include a list of all the browser plugins you have installed.
I have been also experiencing this for the longest time now and it’s crazy to me that only recently has this issue ever been considered.
I’m keeping an active look out for when it occurs to me again because it happens at the most inconvenient times and it’s so frustrating when parts of the website fail to function (settings page, avatar editor, etc) on Firefox.
Here’s to hoping someone already with logs can help.

Right as I went back to the site, it happened again. Experiences were stuck loading, until it eventually gave up again
Also not sure if this is intentional, but the ROBLOX logo in the top left went missing entirely.
Though to be honest, the lag has persisted way longer than this disappeared, so I doubt the two are correlated. Just thought to point it out as others proclaim to still have it in the top left.
The only extensions I use are BTRoblox (however disabling it in the past hasn’t prevented this, I’ll take another screenshot without it if I notice it happens again) and uBlock Origin.
(Edit) managed to get another shot of it without the extensions enabled and after waiting for it to finally catch up and load everything - this is the part of the output with the most errors.
Seems like website slow downs related to this issue are still very well occurring. The most consistent thing in the console appears to be this Cross-Origin thing. I got no clue what it is, but it seems to only show prominently when this issue occurs.
Hopefully we’ll get some news on this soon? Still incredibly frustrating to use. With, and without plugins.
