So its a pretty basic request I think, having the mark in games puts a big target on your back to get harassed and bullied. I have to deal with people in some way bugging me over my mark in games every day when I decide to get on a game with my friends, I like having the mark on website but in-game it really has like no beneficial value.
Users with the verification mark shouldn’t have to remove it from their account entirely by changing names just to avoid the harassment when playing games.
They should also add this for the star creator badge

I’d like to bump this again so I’m doing that, surely that implementation wouldn’t be difficult at all to hide creator name badges in games as a setting for players who have it.
Bump again, I noticed they added a new feature where it SHOWS beside your name in most games. (As in, beside your floating name above your head. Similar to PLS Donate) Once again; asking for a feature to HIDE your verification mark IN game only.
Honestly I would much rather get rid of the verification badge altogether. In my opinion there is no reason to have it
There’s benefits, but it’d also help like I made my post about to hide it in games.
Still asking for this option almost a year later to hide it specifically in-game as an option (not to remove it, but just HIDE it in-game)
Harassment is as strong as ever in-game due to this, I would like an option to hide it IN-GAME, but leave it on website as is.
They need to add this atp, the other day i joined a verified guy and he was getting swarmed by exploiters
I’d love to talk in games and not be told things like “we don’t LIKE verified around here”
