Weekly Recap: February 10 - 14, 2025

A reasonable response would be to follow up on what I said. Not just tell me to not worry and that everything will solve itself when that’s clearly has not been the case with what I raised and many other important feature requests. Doesn’t it annoy you that for 2 weeks there is absolutely nothing new on this platform? While features simple as an ingame join group prompt are being ignored for a decade with 0 staff response?

Yes that’s locked to most experiences. How does that help us currently?

Not to mention their recent discovery changes absolutely destroyed their algorithm and damaged many games’ player counts!

Infact, it only helps big games such as ps99, blox fruits ect. , and makes small games even more unpopular. I changed my mind, it was a bad week.

I understand both sides here, however do be advised Roblox Engineers/Employees are actively trying to make Roblox better by the minute…

Yes they make mistakes but your point is valid we do ask for updates for many decades and it feels like a long-period of waiting however i suggest laying some slack and hopefully something happens later on down the lines.

Remember we are the “Imagination Platform” after all.

what was the point of

making your message

look like that

From the looks of it to the community, they’re sleeping on features people have requested for decades to get added to the platform.

Im replying to one segment at a time and you literally agreed with what I just said. why should we have to wait decades for basic features that every other platform has?

we went from

IT’S FREE
to
POWERING IMAGINATION
to
IT’S NOT FREE
to
''Reimagining the way people come together."

Roblox is not that platform anymore. And other platforms with more customizability do a better job at letting players imagine than Roblox does.

Hey everyone!

Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions! We really appreciate it.

As a reminder, please keep comments focused on the weekly update. If you have any questions or comments about the specific updates, please comment in their respective post. That is the best place for the teams behind the update to gather feedback.

Circling back to the weekly update, we also see a lot of comments regarding the status of a feature, or folks requesting certain features. Please use other categories such as Development Discussion, Feature Requests, or comment on Creator Roadmap/AMA announcements!

Thank you :v:

If they were actively trying to make Roblox better for US they’d LISTEN to US

There’s a lot to talk about! Would you like to address what has been raised here? Because when we do have any questions/comments and raise them in the relevant channels we’re IGNORED :sparkles:

Not to sass, but there isn’t really a topic that ISN’T related to a specific update to really talk about. The post should probably be locked if you don’t want people talking.

On the actual topic of weekly updates/recaps, can we see a separate category created for them? This could technically hold every recap, not just weekly ones. (For example an RDC recap) It’ll be easier to find every recap–and to avoid them–all in one place!

I know a tag was added, but from what I know it’s not like you can blacklist a tag from search, only search for a tag. Pretty useful for finding recaps, not so much excluding them and reducing clutter.

Also, even if we could blacklist tags, it would mean that we would have to use the devforum search slider instead of the category view, meaning we’d also have to type in:first to get actual announcements.

we have… for decades…

Maybe… something more useful? Also, no point suggesting anything, as whatever we may say, it seems to go the place where appeals and reports go.

That’s my point here. Also this feature is very useful and supposed to be a core feature considering groups have existed since 2009. Why would staff care though?! They’d rather direct us to the “relevant channels” where they can freely ignore us to avoid the justified backlash on their weekly recap of 0 updates.

It is easy to exploit - many games already flood your screen with the “Add (game) to favorites?”, and it’d be even more annoying for groups.

And, yeah. That’s roblox! Suggest to be ignored

I mean if it bothers you don’t play the game. Any game developer can abuse prompts. It’s like a web developer spamming his site with ads, people just won’t visit the site as often if at all.
