Weird 🗘 icons appearing all over my Studio

Since I reinstalled my OS yesterday, and then (today) installed and went into Studio, weird :arrows_counterclockwise: icons started appearing everywhere (mostly in bottom right corners of some windows/widgets).

I also noticed that the icons seem to briefly change to a :pause_button: icon if a window/widget is loading, for example when I hit the image button:

It’s very annoying, and disturbs my development, especially when it’s in some random spot or is flickering.

Restarting, reinstalling Studio and restarting my PC didn’t fix it.

Try making a new account on your device, download studio and then see if it still occurs, this feels like something going wrong with an external piece of software

Could you define “account”? I’m not sure what you mean by it.

If you were to click log out, you should have the option to create a new user account on your device

I logged out, but I don’t see any option to create a new user account on my device:

So I logged into my alt account, but the issue still persists.

I’m not sure really how to explain it better, this isn’t to do wit roblox I mean log out of your computer, make a new account only your device / network then log into that and complete the aforementioned steps

Oh, you mean to make a new user profile on my PC and try using Studio there.
I will try it out.

i think it’s some geforce experience bug, it’s the icon that appears if replay is on or not

Does this happen if you disable all recording software (AMD ReLive / NVidia Shadowplay) and any overlays you have enabled? This looks like it is from external software that is detecting the viewport and Lua widgets as a valid recording context.

It was indeed GeForce Experience, @qXlWhitelXp, specifically NVidia Shadowplay detecting windows, as @Subcritical_alt suggested.

I didn’t have issues with it before, as I normally record the whole desktop, instead of just games. But since I reinstalled my OS, then installed GeForce Experience, all settings were on default, and I just didn’t remember to change it back to record the whole desktop :man_facepalming: (which means, adjusting ShadowPlay’s settings to record the desktop instead of just games solves the issue)

@LuaBearyGood’s suggestion also worked, since a new user profile doesn’t have Shadowplay enabled :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you all for helping me solve this issue
