Since updating to Windows 11, I’ve noticed some strange behavior with ROBLOX Studio. The camera movement feels jittery, and there’s alot of stuttering. I’ve spent an entire day updating all my drivers, tweaking level quality settings, and experimenting with different graphics modes, but the issue does not go away.
Interestingly, this doesn’t seem to be related to lag. When I run my game outside of Edit mode at max graphics, I get very high FPS with no issues BUT Here’s where it gets odd when I open OBS, the stuttering and jittering in ROBLOX Studio mostly go away.
I’ve tried setting graphics to the lowest levels, testing all the available graphics modes, and even reinstalling ROBLOX Studio twice, but nothing has resolved the issue.
I think it might be something to do with FPS or how the system handles the application, but I’m not entirely sure, if anyone has anything PLEASE let me know, i really love creating games and i wont be able to do it anymore becuase of this issue.
sounds like a stupid issue, especially since it’s not happening outside of studio. the fact that it improves when obs is open is weird, but it might be related to how your system handles frame limiting or gpu priority or something like that. obs sometimes forces the gpu into a different mode which could smooth things out temporarily.
you could try forcing roblox studio to use a specific gpu (if you have a dedicated one) through your graphics control panel (nvidia or amd settings). also, check if windows 11 is capping your fps or if there’s any overlay software running in the background, like xbox game bar, that could be messing with performance. disabling fullscreen optimizations on the roblox studio executable might also help.
if none of that works, it could be a compatibility issue with windows 11. Worst case scenario reinstall just the operating system and keep your files, thatll fix it! (if it doesnt then its the roblox studio executable itself) Good luck!
