Weird Glitching Problem

(Sorry if this is not the right category, couldn’t find any other category that made sense for the topic.)

Basically my issue is that sometimes when in Roblox studio, sometimes the screen will split into four glitchy corners (sometimes five in the top left). This problem has just recently happened (about 2ish weeks?) and still occurs often.

Any help/way to fix this is much appreciated

You should try to restart your device, then if not, re-install studio and if that doesn’t work try to contact roblox support.

I restarted my device (Did not work.) I re-installed studio (Did not work.) I havent tried to contact roblox support yet but when I posted this topic in a roblox studio discord channel someone said that it might be because of my graphics card. Could that be the problem?

Maybe the graphics processor you’re using to run Roblox Studio (Physical GPU, Integrated Graphics) doesn’t support the graphics processing method you’re giving it.

Restart Studio > Top Left and click File > Studio Settings > Rendering > Under general click Graphics Mode > Set it to OpenGL or Direct3D11

If this still doesn’t work DM me with your discord and I’ll help you further there by screen share. It’s probably something with your GPU settings that’s messing with Studio.

If there’s certain steps you took to get this result, you could probably file a bug report on it. If that isn’t the case, you could search for scripts in Explorer if you may have used a free model (I’m likely wrong there, dk how it would affect you without playing/testing the game). It’s only affecting the screen of the game you’re making, and small script viruses can’t possibly go past that.

What is the camera set to in workspace? This could be causing the problem.

Make sure the camera type is correct.

A humanoid in workspace could also be causing the lag.

Maybe it’s an issue with your graphics drivers? Is it fully updated?

I remember getting something like this on my old computer, not on roblox studio but on the roblox player. I think it has something to do with the graphics rendering so you might want to check on your graphics card or whatever you use. Not to scare you or anything but my computer basically got bricked a few days after noticing the glitching. (But it was form an auction so it was pretty expected)
If you can, try playing a game and see if it does the same glitching effect

Check to see if the bug persists in other places
