has nothing to do with studio quality or graphics.
changing the environment diffusion and specular would fix but also kill the atmosphere.
the only way it could be fixed so far is if another ceiling were to hover on top of the house, but i wouldn’t want people to just seeing a random floating brick.
it could be the way the house is structured which is my best bet.
i might’ve missed more on what i should check, but i’d really appreciate the help from this lighting glitch!
its cause roblox uses either 4 stud or 8 stud voxel lighting for ambient light. cant change this as its an engine limitation.
also the effect will just be there more prominently since ur on shadowmap instead of future which i think makes the ambient light leak a bit less obvious
it could also just be that ur outdoor ambient is just too bright
This just happens with Roblox’s engines. The roof is thin enough for the lighting to not properly render. You are correct in a way to fix this is to add a second thicker part above it.
Some ways to partly fix this issue is to switch to different lighting engines (but this won’t entirely fix the issue) or redesign your house to be much thicker.
Some games will have a program that runs whenever they enter a building that will set the sun’s brightness to 0, which will “stop” the bleeding (as there will be no light to bleed through).
