Weird shading on meshes imported from Blender

i imported the regular arm mesh from roblox into blender, cut it up into a few chunks cause it’s necessary for what im trying to make but when i imported it back in it however it appears to have this strange shading issue to it – if it helps im using the shade smooth option in blender

(one on the left is the regular arm, one on the right is the imported arm)

Does it look that way in blender?

I recommend using custom normals using the data transfer modifier

yea it does look like that in blender and i think ill give that a try when i have the time to

In blender did you shade auto smooth?

ended up just not using shade smooth because it didnt make enough of a difference to matter
