So currently i’m in the process of making a fairly large map using Roblox’s terrain and using there new material variants to change the texture of the grass and sand, however I quickly noticed that it doesn’t transition between textures very well. Ideally i would want there to be a longer fade between the textures so it seems more seamless rather then super sudden.
are they’re any ways to go about achieving this look? Is it possible on Roblox yet? If they’re isn’t a way are there any alternatives i could try to get a more appealing texture transition?
unfortunately, i think that’s the best you’ll be able to get with how limited roblox terrain can be
if you really wanted that sort of texture though, and as long as it’s for small patches, you could alternatively use decals with their transparency up a little
other than that, i got no ideas
