Roblox has done it in the past. It is possible and it is common knowledge every person on that IP will be banned. This should hopefully stop people from cheating as currently there is no system in place or any type of punishment. Obviously cheaters should not get IP banned straight away and I do believe there should be a system in place for example: First offence: banned for a few days, Second offence: etc, etc, etc.
, by ip do you mean the IPS? if so, then anyone else on that IP would also be banned
website ip bans are possible however, global server IP bans are a whole diff thing

As a former exploit developer, I want to say that Byron will never be able to ultimately stop exploiting developers. Sure, it’ll improve on dll injection detection, which will technically ban some people. But exploit developers will manage to find ways around these things considering they know almost as much as these developers at Byfron do.
TL;DR: I am a former exploit developer Byron will never be able to completely stop exploiters, but it’ll help minimize exploiters if Roblox knows what they’re investing in.

They use several anti-cheats. Not just Battleye.
Maybe to newer cheaters. But ones that are in Discords, or other communication platforms, could easily ask for advice, and probably get recommended a HWID changer.
Help them out if you’re interested, might need some truthful exploiters to open up about vulnerabilities.
but how? how can roblox not make a auto inject detection script, like the second you touch that inject button it should ban you automatically?
Yeah those spoofers are super accessible, so I’m not sure what ROBLOX is going to try to do

IPs are dynamic by default. All you have to do is restart your router and now you have a new IP. You can also just use a VPN to bypass IP bans.

I personally believe that the alt detection will be using a combination of methods. Though I’m hoping they don’t rely on their “detection” alone as it could easily be flawed, just like their current moderation.
The client-side anti-cheat will likely be bypassed rather easily, but the server-side anti-exploit is what I’m interested in. I’ve heard that it will be baked into the physics system.
