Weld does not work for some reason?

Hi,

I have a bit of a scripting and building related issue. I just simply created a weld like i always did. The hinge is anchored and the lever isnt. Yet, for some reason the lever just doesnt move along??

Try putting your lever inside your hinge (make it a child of the hinge).

It shouldnt be like this however. Check your weld properties.
If none of this works, delete your created weld, and manually create it: Add a weld contraint to your lever, make part0 the lever itself, and part1 the hinge. Regular welds are deprecated, maybe its causing issues

I tried a weldconstraint already but that does not work either. Also parenting the hinge to the lever doesnt work.

You seem to be tweening orientation. Rather tween CFrame instead.

You will need to use CFrame instead. Position & Orientation don’t effect the other parts.
