I am trying to weld a knife for a cutting animation to a R15 or R6 right hand i followed many tutorials recent and old videos i tried again and again but the knife would not weld to the hand

make sure you welded the knife itself together and all the parts are not anchored

Wait the handle moves with it but the knife dosent
the handle is welded to the union right
i welded it but its rotated wrong idk why
try fix the rotation outside moon and weld it again this time weld in place
oh well thanks i fixed it i couldn’t figure it out before

anybody else have ideas? im so confused
this time the handle isnt even moving
It keeps deleting the weld after i make it
