Welding to Skinned Meshes?

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    Skinned Viewmodels.

  2. What is the issue?
Instance Parts weld to the skinned Meshes, but they dont move along with it when viewmodel is animated.

  3. What solutions have you thought of so far?
Option 1 : I could use one rig for positioning the item which is supposed to be held, and the skinned viewmodel for show. However this would require animating twice, and we can’t be sure to match the positioning every time.
Option 2 : I could make multiple viewmodels with each weapon. However as painful as it sounds, it’s worse when making updates and adding more items to the game

Anyone got any ideas as to how I could, say, weld stuff to a vertice in studio? I know vertice-manipulation isn’t supported by Roblox yet, but I’ve tried welding to a bone as I saw in one post. Didn’t work.

EDIT: nvm i found it. Thanks for whoever tried (if any)
