Welds in my parts

Sorry if someone already asked this and answered this, but

What exactly is a weld?

Why is it appearing in my parts out of nowhere.

Is it okay if I delete it from my part?

Welds are like when superglue joins 2 parts together, if you threw the part off the cliff so would the other weld (joined part)

If you have joining on then by default roblox will try to weld your parts.

Welds are used to hold multiple parts together

As to why they are appearing in your parts, refer to this

Thank you. Is there a way to delete all my welds at once because in the studios I have been working on it has a lot of builds with welds. Also, it does not change anything if I just leave it?

If the build is anchored, when you delete all the builds it should not change anything. However, if it isn’t anchored then everything would break apart.

If the build that you want to remove doesn’t have anything like scripts and stuff, and only welds, you can highlight all the parts, then right click and select ‘Select Children’, then delete the welds. But if it has other stuff, then you might need to remove it manually (searching up ‘Weld’ in the explorer, and deleting it).

Well this is the way I’ve done it, it probably isn’t the best way to remove welds or other stuff from your parts.
