We're working on a fully 2d clicker game and are looking for any feedback anyone could give us!

Hello! As mentioned in the title, we are currently working on a fully 2d clicker game within Roblox called Coin Clicker. The premise of the game is simple, clicking the coin to get currency, spending that on upgrades and seeing how far you can go with getting various other extra things on the side.

The game is still not done and we are looking for feedback regarding the parts of the game that are there already. Currently we have the main clicking mechanic, a decent amount of upgrades as well as progression rewards. Feedback on any of these things as well as the overall design of the game would be very helpful to us!

Currently another thing we aren’t sure about is if our Roblox Premium Membership only upgrades work properly. Neither of us currently has Roblox Premium so can’t properly test it out in the current version of the game so feedback on this would be very appreciated as well!

tl;dr We would appreciate any opinions you would have about our game.

Thank you in advance, happy new year!

It is well made, but there isn’t really anything to properly keep the player entertained. Sure, you’ve got the challenges, but people won’t really enjoy the reward of just a new coin. Apart from that, the saving works, there is variation for different styles of upgrades, etc. But when I opened the settings, I noticed “Auto clicker” in the premium settings. I’m pretty sure it’s against the rules, but wouldn’t lots of people just use some random auto clicker from the internet instead of paying for premium if they don’t have it already? Also, the shop GUI just looks incredibly odd compared to the others. Apart from that, it’s a pretty well made game with functioning mechanics and some variety. Great job!

Thank you so much for your insightful response. On the topic of keeping players entertained we are planning on adding leaderboards for players to compete against other players, more various cosmetic items that are earned from playing the game, but we would love to hear if you would have anything in mind that would fit our game!

The “Premium Settings” tab in the settings is going to be renamed, but it is meant to control the game pass settings. We aren’t sure if we are going to keep the auto clicker feature in the game for the full release as we are just experimenting with various ideas currently!

We would also love to hear a bit more of your opinion on the shop window. Is it due to the images not being pixel art? We are still working on the full artstyle of the game, so feedback here would be very appreciated here as well!

Once again, thank you for your detailed response, it is really helpful to us in developing this game!

I like the look of the game! It’s as you stated, a 2d clicker game! I don’t usually see a lot of these on ROBLOX so this is an awesome idea! But I agree with @Quantum_Rio that the game gets kind of boring after a while. But, I still this is a great game because of the graphics!

The shop window mainly looks out of place because of the rainbow gradient that it has, compared to everything else having the same colours. And no problem!

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are still working on the game and we have plans to add more content to the game as we go, such as leaderboards and overall more things to do!

Oh you mean the shop button? We’re still playing around with the look of everything so we may likely end up changing it out for something else, but currently we wanted to make it stand out a little and to differentiate it a bit from the upgrades button. Once again, thank you for your feedback! It’s really helpful to us!

Pretty cool, nice and polished.

I don’t really like these types of games so I can’t say that I enjoy it. But I feel like it’s good for what type of game it is. One suggestion I have is for you to add some sort of sound that plays when you click the button.

Thank you for your feedback and your suggestion! We are currently focusing more on the gameplay side of things but are planning to start working on sound design soon!
