So I just did a sponsor test and got 40-60 ccu on my simulator game. Then I checked dev stats and saw that crash rate was on 20% is that really bad or just bad?
A good crash rate is 0%. On my simulator game I avarage around 10% with some sudden spikes and some occasional small dips.
like the man said the ultimate goal is always 0% but i mean Its near impossible due to low end devices. ROBLOX crashing and just the platform underperforming in optimization. I have a 4,000 computer and run AAA title games on ultra graphics at 200+ fps but on roblox when I was using a fps unlocked in my own project i would get 90-125 same thing on a friends game that was a much less demanding game. I think if you are under 25-30% crash rate ur fine but anything else you want to consider looking into more optimization
The crash rate is the percentage of users who shut their laptop lids or exit the app instead of pressing the leave button.
In other words, it means almost nothing.
Oh really? That’s why it’s so much higher on pc then.
I suppose that makes sense.
I did not know this. I’m part of that group I usually just click alt+f4 to close it as my cross in the top right is small.
That’s registered as closing the app, not a crash.
I should have said this but I’m not sure myself, but I think it happens when the device enters sleep mode, or you switch apps on Android (where it will close the app automatically due to it using up too much RAM).
