What’s the best way to learn Lua scripting?

Let me know if this should be in #development-discussion or a different category, I’m not sure.

Hello! I recently started using Roblox Studio (I’ve been procrastinating for a while now, unfortunately), and I want to learn Lua scripting, as part of a checklist i made of skills required to make and release my own game.

However, I have come upon a problem, the problem being I have absolutely no clue where to start.

So far, I’ve tried searching things like ‘best way to learn Lua’ , ‘Lua coding tutorial’ and more on YouTube, Google, etc., but I cannot decide on anything, because I’m uncertain what sources/channels I should trust, and I really don’t want to start down the wrong path.
Can someone show me a reliable place to start? Thanks.

You should check out Codebro29 videos on YouTube! It is really detailed and he used a lot of layman terms to illustrate the ideas for programming! I highly recommend watching his beginner series as it really helped me a lot
