What’s the best way to make realistic terrain in blender

So the way I’ve been doing it in blender (evevee) I get a plane and then subdivide the plane into 60k ventricles then add a displace modifier and then I go to shader editor and add a noise texture but it doesn’t give me the feel I want. If anybody has any other methods in evee or cycles or yt tutorials they recommend that would be great!


Im no blender expert and I dont know the “best way” but have you tried the landscape add on?
