Why are there 2 Montserrats and are they different?

At the time, Monsterrat and Gotham were their own fonts, however upon Gotham’s deprecation, it was replaced by (you guessed it) Monsterrat, because of how visually similar it is.

That makes sense but at least they didn’t do the same for Arial (there aren’t 2 Arimos)
Noob question but how do you file a post as #bug-reports? I didn’t see it when I searched for “Bug.”
