What are show network owner "red boxes"?

I am currently dealing with a physics interference problem in which network ownership is affecting the way my vehicle behaves. I am making use of the show network owner debug mode to find out what is going on and the problem seems to be in some sort of “partial” network owning that appears?

Basically, I have 2 players. Player 1 is driving. Player 2 is standing.

As you can see, Player 1 has network ownership of the vehicle.

In both client views. Now, when Player 2 decides to touch the vehicle, this happens.

In Player 2’s view, a red box appears around the vehicle and Player 1. This box does not indicate Player 1’s ownership, in fact, it seems like Player 2 is gaining partial ownership of the vehicle.

However, both in Player 1’s view and the server view (up image), the network owner still is Player 1.

When the red boxes appear locally for Player 2, vehicle physics behave differently for Player 2, something I am not looking for. Does anybody know why is this happening, what do these red boxes indicate and if it has a solution?
