What are some features of good Roblox games?

Hello there!

I’m AnitechPalur. Before I start, please let me know if I have put this topic in the wrong category. I’m still new to the Roblox Developer Forum. Thanks in advance!

I have been thinking of creating a game on Roblox, however, I am just curious - what are some features of good Roblox games? What do some of the most popular games on Roblox share in common? And what makes them so popular?

If this relates to your own projects then #help-and-feedback but in general you got the right category.

The most popular ones feature little baby GUIs and over glorified gamepass buttons. The best ones…well…this is highly subjective. While I like the look of a simple solid-colored roundify ones others will only suffice for a mega complex button with 93 different screens and sizes and effects galore. Usually just make it look good and it’d be better.

Yes, everything matters. If any one component of your “good” Roblox game isn’t up to par with the rest it is not a good game. The most important thing with a rewards system is balance, and one that keeps people wanting more.

Simplicity makes a great game, don’t make anything too complex. The brain does not like complexity, make sure if you have ANY GUI’S in your game then make them simple.
