What are some things to add to a city game?

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    More ideas on what to add to my game on Roblox.
  2. What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!
    I am unsure of what to add to my Roblox city game.
  3. What solutions have you thought of so far?
    I have looked for other forums asking this question but I have found none.

Well, it depends on what you have now. Can you provide a list please?

If you don’t have these already, then here are my suggestions:

  • Lights. Cities at night are spectacular. And if your city is by water, then Roblox’s water can enhance the lighting effects even further.

Something like this is what I’m imagining:

  • A bridge to/form from the city. Sort of like the Brooklyn Bridge, it’d be awesome to have one not only because almost any other city near water has bridges, but if you want some thumbnails for your game, then you can take them by the bridge that is approaching the city, kind of like this:

Plus, a bridge is an important “landmark” of a city.

IDK if I went overboard with this, but those are my ideas!

Hm, I was more asking things like game mechanics like money dropping when you die since the city is already based off an already existing city in real life, sorry if I was not being specific enough in my original post.

Well, it really depends on what you do in the city game, name some examples.

You are free to roam around it, buy guns, break into a military base or steal cars, and there is also police and military force.

Well, adding new and unique features is important to having your game stand out. Perhaps have gamemodes where the teams face off in different ways, or fighting npcs. Either way, it’s your game and you make the decisions.

What do you have in your game so far? I can think of cars, highways, roads, trees, apartments, houses. But like @TheCarbyneUniverse it would e helpful if you can tell us whats already in your game

Here is a quick list I made.

  • Apartments
  • Cars [One is free and others are purchased with in-game money]
  • Factory
  • Police Station
  • Military Base
  • Money dropping on death
  • Ability to buy money with dev products
  • Gun store
  • Ability to clean garbage off the ground to get in-game currency

It may not list all but it should list a large section of it.

Something simple you can probably add are a few Storm Drains, and if you wanna go all out a sewer system underground.

Roblox is your imagination, create anything you want!

For me, a city needs life and vehicles.

Well if you’re putting it that way, maybe add a bank or museum to get robbed. Besides that, vehicles are very important in games, so I could suggest you to make more cooler vehicles, such as motorbikes, speedboats, quad bikes and etc.
