I have been 3D modelling for over a year now, and I am wondering if there is any tips you may have on bettering these skills. I feel as if I can 3D model but I want to get more advanced at it. (To the point where I can create anything I want without limits like cars, guns, buildings, etc.)
Shade smooth your models so that they look realistic. There are many modelling tutorials on Youtube you could use to learn Advanced Modelling. Get clear with the fundamentals, basics of modelling. Play with modifiers and learn new techniques.
Great models! you could work on smoothing tricks, like for those cups there’s tricks in smoothing you can do to smooth it out and not have those lines without adding extra triss, instead of the right click to smooth in blender, if you select all (A) while in edit mode and go to the object data properties on the right, then go to normals and move it up to around 60 (also have it ticked)
then while your in edit mode still and selecting the whole mesh with A got to the Mesh icon and down the bottom go to shading and click smooth faces.
Then after that you can go into edge mode and click all the edges you would prefer to be sharp and right click and press Mark sharp. This trick gives you more control on your model and where you want smooth and sharp. Way better then just right clicking and pressing smooth. Hope this makes sense lol
i think it depends what your going for. I am getting into realism with blender but I dont know if I should be doing realism for roblox or not, but addons certainly help as well as other 3d technology. I can make some super hyper realistic stuff, but looks like it would be good for unity dev, as roblox has this cartoonish feel, and sadly I just cannot make cartoony stuff for some reason although i really want to. Not in my blood I suppose. But definitely look at some paid addons and other 3D technology to help you integrate. You can make some really high quality stuff by hand which takes time and extreme patience, but for me, I don’t have that kind of time to do it by hand if i can just use an addon to help with the heavy lifting
that is always gunna happen. We artists can never be satisfied with our work as it seems impossible to fully articulate what our vision is thru the limitations of computers, pens, paper, paint, tools, etc.
I think the key to getting better tho is build as many things as you can so you will learn working with shapes, and tools and stuff. I think you are doing great work so far! Just keep practicing it

Your models are looking pretty good already, but if you want advice on how to step up your game, watch some videos of other artists’ workflows. You’ll pick up on a lot of neat little tricks and add-ons to make your work way quicker, allowing you to make much more complicated models.
This is the guy I watched on YouTube to learn hard-surface modeling in blender. His videos will teach you so much about different detailing tricks like booleans, beveling, etc. Oh and that’s another thing, learn how to bevel if you don’t already know; select an edge and click CTRL+B (use the mouse scroll to increase the amount of cuts in the bevel.
Nice models. Try using the subdivision surface modifier to get more detailed shapes. Also, try using auto smooth or edge split for smoother looking faces with clean, sharp edges.
