What are the actual ROBLOX expectations around in-game gambling?

Hi, I’m curious as to the actual implications of the ROBLOX gambling ruling:

“However, no real money, Robux, or in-experience items of value may be exchanged in connection with any gambling activities”

What does this actually apply to? It seems like most major games have in-game currency that can be bought with Robux that can then be used to engage in luck-based gaming (gambling with loot crates). I’d assume massive games like Blade Ball and MM2 wouldn’t blatantly be disregarding rules like that, even though it seems like that exact system is the one targeted by the rules.

On the contrary, even though it was said as recently as late September that “We’d like to remind everyone that simulated gambling is disallowed on our platform”, and it seems fairly agreed upon that you can’t use Robux-purchasable currency in games of chance, it still appears that most major games have a system like this.

It seems like there are a lot of different responses on this topic, so I’m hoping to find some form of concrete answer. Are you just disallowed from having a form of “virtual casino”? Would having an in-game claw machine or plinko machine be against the rules? What types of chance-based mechanics are actually allowed, and which are against the rules?

It doesn’t really break the rules unless it is a few things:

-It is a game completely based around gambling your robux

-It doesn’t show the chances and is paid

-Is a illegal gamble

-Scams and shows impossible items

Etc

Last time I checked, gambling sort of mechanics are sort of allowed, as long as a reward is guaranteed. Like pet eggs in most games, you always get something, even it is trash.
