What are these lines in glass and how do I make the glass panes have them diagonally in whatever size that I want?

Essentially I’m trying to make this [image 1] in any size.

The issue that I’m facing is whenever I try resizing or making anything that isn’t directly a square.

Basically it just puts the decal on the side or makes it look all distorted.

Another thing that I tried: I tried putting the panes next to each other, but this isn’t perfect due to my inability to make it even.

Any help is appreciated and I’ll try to keep a close eye on the post.

Thanks!

i think the texture object should work, either that or a custom material in material manager with the lines image for both of these

Well currently I’m using the texture and it’s not really working. Here’s the ID: 1500988270.

My setup is this.

The union is two parts: one normally rotated (to make the square) and the other one a small part on the inside specifically rotated 45 degrees (and transparent). This was done so that the texture would go across the 45 degrees that I wanted it to. The only other solution that I’ve found (which didn’t work very well) was making a bunch o negative parts and cutting off the sections of glass that I don’t need. Thanks for the response!

try rotating the texture (30 5h4r minimum filler)

I’m confused. Then again I’m not too experienced with textures.

These are the properties that I can see (unfortunately).

Ah, I’ve tried that but I found an issue.

You can’t load the image (like I’ve tried putting the URL into a decal and then my browser). The page just comes up as non-existent.

is this it?

I’m not sure, I’ll try the ROBLOX page again.

On second thought, I don’t think that could be it due to the fact that it has a subtle graident from the top and no transparent background. The other identifying detailt is that some of the lines have different weights.

that’s a site feature, original image has a transparent background, and i assume the weights are influenced by the way devforum shows images as well

Ah, yes I had to click into that. Let me see if this is the image.
