I’m working on a Rhythm game at the moment. In need of a builder to give a hand though!
There was an old video floating around somewhere of “DynaBlocks” as some basic 3D modeling program that had a physics implementation. I dunno if it was real or not, but I can’t find it anyway.
Are you talking about this?
Yeah, that’s it.
Where didja find it?
Google, I believe this was an early prototype of the physics engine but I may be super wrong so don’t quote me on that
It could always be fake. Who knows

Also, are those trees supposed to be on the path?
That’s how they were in the original crossroads. I might move 'em, though.
Here’s a ball I made a few days back for RoBowling and thought looked cool.
Oh man, does the monster get a different amount of limbs depending on how many players build? That’s actually really smart.
Yup. Users build their parts on their own time and submit them to the monster at the start of each match.
(UI is super subject-to-change here. This version is missing a lot of stuff I wanna have.)
The system then takes whatever it’s given and tries to make a monster out of it. I’ve narrowed down the 12k something possibilities into roughly 30 “molds” that can take a certain threshold of parts, and the most extreme unworkable combinations are welded into a ball that rolls around like a Katamari.
That’s fantastic. I loved the idea behind Mashables and it’s awesome to see it getting some smart game design upgrades. Can’t wait to play.
I put in parts at random a few times and got this stuff:
Make sure you are careful with UGC. A lot can go horrible wrong… or maybe not.
