The result of a 9 hour dev stream
Finished the high poly model, made the low poly model. Then made a custom wood texture using this tutorial.
Rendered out the high poly, then moved the texture over the UVs of the low poly. Added a normal map, stenciled in some stuff, then baked it all onto the low poly. Added some finishing touches in texture paint and then in paint.net
Honestly turned out pretty nice, and only 706 tris as well.
With some help from @Tradesmark I managed to improve my materials… at the cost of some glossiness and fresnel… But I really like how this is coming out, I had actually convinced a friend that I made this from the NCR ranger vet texture from Fallout New Vegas until he opened up the texture from FNV and was shocked, and then impressed. <3

Out of curiosity, where does that specific style come from? I’ve seen it in a few games, this is the first that came to mind.

I am making a plugin to make adding content to Harvest Season easier for myself. It is taking forever but at least it is partially functional.
