This is literally art, gorgeous!
Are you sculpting high definition versions which you’ll bake into shadows for low poly versions?
Please don’t forget the cloth around his torso.
Dont worry I wont forget lol, saving that for when I get home where its easier to sculpt
Yeah for the cherub I already baked the high poly information onto the lowpoly version (didnt show it though, its not done yet)
The capital is going to be a bit more challenging as Ill have to manually move the high poly texture over the UVs of the low poly
Now that the cat’s out of the bag, here are some of my AR2 UI elements that I previously wasn’t allowed to share.
Lovely, idk why but it reminds me of ghost recon wild lands…
is this ShadowMap?
Sadly I ran out of time to work on this tonight, but here’s my progress for the MG-42.
I’ll probably end up having to custom model a few parts of this to keep it under 3k poly… the barrel is a poly eater
Just made some good progress on something I’ve wanted to do: https://youtu.be/RK-R7DnGGJg
Basically I create a Replicator and a ReplicatorEndpoint, tell the Replicator how to send its “packets” (in this case, over electron’s ipc as it’s between different windows) and it’ll replicate the HTML element and all future changes. Text changes, attribute changes (e.g. style like position), children that get added/removed, …
doesn’t work 100%, but works pretty well already. le proud
not really roblox (well, not at all), but oh well
Finished the MG-42, ended up remodeling all of it… its 5k poly but eh, in-game model won’t actually have barrel detailed which will drop it down to 2,250. But for my Jin Roh esque render, it’ll do quite fine.
Making some sort of rover exploration game… I’m building its path as I’m working on it so I have no idea what to do with it D:
This is honestly amazing. I’ve recently downloaded a new 3d modeling program and would love to soon be making things as nice as this
