Tell me when you get to the final product, I’d love to see it.
Gif was before I fixed the foot planting and smoothed out the animations.
Group games, leading the group and other stuff.
That 2nd model in particular looks suspiciously similar to the model of a certain tank in a certain popular online tank game that never actually existed outside said game.
I am just saying this in case you want to make it into an actual game, ripped off assets are generally being frowned upon.
i want to play this so bad
EDIT: just realized i could lol
I keep seeing simulators pop up every few days, so this weekend I’m challenging myself to make “Simulator Simulator”, perhaps the biggest cashgrab extravaganza I’ll ever partake in, but I’m going to make sure its atleast a good play.
Just trying to get basic stuff in atm, I’ve got a knife with a slash, throw and a solid way of awarding kills.
I’ve also done a little bit of work on porting the Entities I made to working server-side as opposed to the client.
There isn’t really any lag.
Oh, and almost everything here is server-sided and modular. After about 6 rewrites last night at 3am and today up until 1am. I need caffeine to feel. Hopefully because it’s modular I’ll be able to add more simulator things really easily.
If you wan’t to give it a test, or just want to see how the entity system works get a couple of people on here;
Place is set to friends only right now.
Been working on some more VR stuff.
All of this is physically simulated and uses constraint objects:
Good shout! Should be public access now
Nice work, do you plan to make a game out of this?
I probably won’t be making a VR-only/climbing game. There’s just not enough Roblox players with VR headsets for that at the moment. I will be adding VR support to all of the games I make going forward, though, and that might include some features for grabbing objects and such.
Cloth?
Verlet integration. Cloth in a way.
