Night nerdz
Is it a monster or just a really disproportionate human with no muscle?
What a beauty
That dash effect on high speed and afterburners stole my soul.
It’s anime proportions.
So I’ve got the interaction system working pretty nicely. It’s incredibly easy to use to set things up and I can now have a whole range of Interaction Types!
Things being showcased here;
- Unique interaction types; Use and Destroyed
- A demonstration of how quickly you can create interactable objects.
- Multiple inputs to a single gate with little configuration
- Multiple outputs from a single gate with little configuration.
Also, please note the “Instance” count in the top left. This is running in studio with no 3rd party plugins. The instances go up for, like, no reason.
I appreciate that they scale properly to Roblox character proportions.
All those items made in 3D software? (including the weapons)
Looks amazing.
Yes, all of it made in Blender
Working on my own knife on Blender. I do need a tad bit of help from someone slightly more experienced than myself, though. Trying to untriangulate a small section and I’m not quite sure how I’d do it. This isn’t a mesh so alt + J doesn’t work.
Some tips for your knife blade:
- Following what I’ve pointed out on this typical Bowie knife example will make your knife look more badass and more importanty, sharp
- I also think that the tip of that knife aims a bit high. The point should be more forward facing like in the picture
- That knife handle could be wider. The top and bottom edges also looks pretty sharp and uncomfortable to hold ngl
- I also think that the edge along the bottom face of that handle could be a bit smoother too
- Kinda assuming it’s a bowie knive, but in terms of length proportions, the knife blade could be a bit longer. Many irl Bowie knives have at least or around 9 inches of blade to a 5 inch handle.
Still a cool knife though!
Hmmm, thanks for the tips. I was just going with my mind but it does look pretty similar to a Bowie knife. I’ll see what I can do.
I shoud post it from the side, too. Just to make sure.
“started from the bottom now we’re here”
@Billy_Dodo I’ve been working on a newer one and I hope that it seems more appealing to you this time. I’m still pretty new to Blender, soooo. Trial and error is the key, here.
