I made a laser.
(Still) working on Dragon RP 2, a modernized version of a 2012 game I own (Republished on 2014) - I’ve mostly been writing backend systems and scripts so the map isn’t quite something picture-worthy (It’s still a default generation, and I haven’t done too many edits, but I plan on that.)
Same thing I’m always working on!
We’re starting our first term of development on the 7th of this month with my new team, can’t wait!
OT: If anyone has any cool design ideas for our official website (which will include forums, online chat, wiki, etc), please PM me on here.
Awesome Logo by @PumpkinWhite
UI is small because I’m on a large monitor running 4k atm. It is scalable.
EDIT: If anyone is interested in testing Disaster Island once we have an Alpha version, PM me here. We’re looking for an army of bug splatters for when we get to that stage.
Doesn’t seem small in the screenshot.
Eh I think it’s a little smaller than it looked on my 13" Macbook Pro, but it doesn’t look too bad I guess.
Currently working on a RTS game inspired by Command and Conquer series.
No screenshots to post because the game is currently in a very primitive state, though.
not even gonna share a tiny tease?
not even a very out of context screenshot with the words “soon™”
Well there’s some gameplay to be seen, so here’s a picture of some red units that just engaged a white colored unit. Nothing much though…
Its a chameleon in case anyone was wondering… Might have to redo the eyes as they look a little pointy around the edges and not very organically shaped, but the cool thing is this is 1,100 polygons! But the goal for this model, when the body is done, is to best represent this guy from hotline miami 's physical appearance, and yes he will also be a darker scale colored figure, with golden brass knuckles. (Will also do a white suit version of him as well for a playable character named Big “E” Scales)
“come inside child and meet this old weird man”
You could shape the entire bottom part of the tower to be teapot-shaped rather than just having a teapot symbol, with the spout as chimney
More planets! Messing around with volumetric atmosphere and chromatic aberration. Textures still feel a little low-res though. Really fun course, would highly recommend.
(Btw if anyone with 4 GTX 1080’s would like to volunteer as a render farm that’d be awesome.)
I’d love to know a little bit about how this is achieved. Are there any sources of information for this?
What site did you get the tut from?
Ayyeee, do you have any tips for creating the flap’s on those suits? having some trouble making them myself Also pls git job for modeling packages!
@maplestick holy crap thats amazing, I’ll be adding that book onto my purchase list for this year. OwO
@HolidayPwner
You’re pretty talented and nice to see that you’re putting custom meshes to good use! (And damn, thats a crisp image)
Got some progress. This took way too long to get to this point for a simple model but eh, proud of it so far.
(Only 2,016 polygons)
This is actually the sixth body I’ve modeled today, for some ungodly reason I’m having an insane time making legs and arms look decent (hence why there is none), typically the torso is where I have the most trouble at. But hey, progress is progress…
