Not enough neon
Finally got around to having the game I’ve been working on since the beginning of this year (Toonblox: Universe) released to the public. There’s still a lot of content I need to add throughout development, but here’s two images of the different playgrounds/worlds of the game:

Its amazing how much adding motion to a tail makes for a better animation, link below is the animation w/ a tail that doesn’t move.

I made a video of dominoes toppling in real life, into Roblox, and then back out again! This was made for a contest thing, hence the two-second wall of text. Also, see if you can spot the visual trickery I used in the first clip without referring to the spoiler in the description.

Working on an Escapists type of game. Just trying to get a functional thing going before I make it look good
I know it’s been awhile, but I finally have some neat work to show!
I’ve recently been using a really fun style of low poly, and it has single handedly re-inspired me to develop for hours each day.
And I finally found a working camera to use for the text scene.

Got some basic terrain working for my game
But for some reason it won’t seem to work when I do it this way:
Either decrease the size of the chunks or increase the increment of the chunk creating grid?
In that case, you have to add half of the height and half of the width onto the offset, so give that a try.
Further progress, Blu will now switch between his weapon and grenades to mix up his attacks.
He can also track and lead targets fairly well, making him a formidable opponent.
And since its important to make it obvious to the player (as well as developer) that the AI is doing something, made a reload animation for the rifle.
Next up, time to make a kill house w/ popup targets and see how Blu does with randomly appearing targets! I’m sure the little guy will do just fine!
Unfinished lasso system for my open world wild west project
You’ll be able to break out of a lasso. They may put up a good fight but it’ll be worth that huge cash bonus turning in wanted bandits alive
Kinda funny seeing your post with that image, because for the past couple days I have been working on something similar for the fun of it, but its not going into a game, I was just doing this to learn some perlin noise terrain generation stuff
(and yes thats the rain plugin by buildthomas)
I then raised it into a neat minecraft style algorithm:
(accidentally made it repeat chunks with same noise, oops)
Next I tried doing trees but they are more like matchsticks currently
Overall this was fun to make and I might turn it into a game, who knows!

Not yet, just a build for now. But I hope to eventually find the resources and the team I need to perhaps turn it into a functioning RPG style game
