No side effects, apart from needing to bind a key to hide UIs as ShowDevelopmentGui would normally do. (since I abuse ShowDevelopmentGui to pull this off)
All images in the spoiler are great, the one beneath the spoiler needs a lot of work. Can’t make out the anvil clearly.
What would you change about the last image?
Add a light source above the scene.
White one is great, black one is nostalgio tho
I don’t know why but I can only imagine the character saying SHAUN! over and over
Attempts to resist urge to make a full mario-esque world to accomodate for this character
.
Fails.
Been working on improving my mouse library – this is the unreleased (and untested!) dev branch: https://github.com/EmeraldSlash/RbxMouse/tree/dev
Currently doing stuff with mouse input is kinda messy and not fun so I decided to make my own custom mouse object
It’s now released
If you have any feature suggestions or bugs, let me know.
wow
Did you use an HDR map for the lighting? cuz oof:
I’m going to just guess that you made this low poly for a game asset.
Hello, I’ve got a few things going so I don’t burn myself out on any specfic project as I’m mostly a solo developer.
Here is a slow motion demo I created which is completely open source do feel free to look at the code and stuff: x.com
I’m also working on a remake of personal servers. I have released a version which uses smooth terrain however, I am making a second version which uses block terrain. Here is the clone tool I was working on a while back: x.com
I’ve also got a space MMO going which is by far my largest project and I’m doing it with other people although I need to teach them how to develop as well… It’s currently only open to specific users but players can transition from space from to a planet and maintain their position on a ship (this also goes for jumping from sector to sector).
Here is a demo of the sector map (I have since fixed a few issues and added a bit): x.com
Can’t wait for universe scripts though! That should hopefully make all my dreams with Stellar Conflict come true.
What do you do to make it more smooth? Do you find the specific volume that each voxel should have?
Looks fine to me?
