My turn to finally post something after a big college hiatus!!
Some days ago I got an idea for a game, began working on some assets. Got the turret bridge and one cannon model made today. Will use those to test the idea ^.^

Confusion, I don’t understand it
The camera is completely detached/independent from/of the character, if I understand correctly.
How about them randomly generated canyons?

I’ve been working on some lissajous curves.
I uncopylocked it. I’ll probably expand on it sometime.
I made a simple “3D Skybox” model that you can take to use.
It uses the ViewportFrame to work, all you need to do is just plop whatever you want inside of it, and it should work.
The script includes two simple settings (Origin of the skybox camera, and the distance where you want the billboard gui to be).
Just place the billboard gui into somewhere like StarterGui.

Working on making a global-friendly UX and localization for Bandit Simulator. Tbh tho I just posted it because flags are really nice looking in UI.

There are a few issues here and there, but it pretty much shows off the stuff I’ve been working on.

I think it’s safe to say that anybody would scream like Tom in one of those old cartoons after doing this.
I made a quick update so now the sky-box slightly ‘moves’ when your camera moves (You would probably want to fiddle around with this as it’s not the most elegant way of doing things).
It uses a ‘scale’ to make the skybox seem further away than it actually is. It’s a bit funky so it might be worth experimenting with it. I’m thinking a bigger ‘scale’ for a bigger game world.
I find it would be best to have something that blocks the horizon that is placed in the workspace (So it’s intractable), but have that area either be a border of the world or something, just to keep immersion in you game.
You can just disable movement if you want to.
