What are you working on currently? (2020)

Somehow, this reminds me of a song in a game called Undertale. It’s also a really sad song. I’m crying right now. Okay, I should be better now. It gives a sad feeling but it’s a good song.

This is a very unique concept! Watching you play looks so fluid, and makes me want to play too! I’ll check it out later.

Since your built the maps, you probably know where to go without having to think about it. I’m wondering if you are planning to add some sort of visual guidance so that the player knows where to go next.

But, it seems like your levels are light on the eye and are easy to navigate, so it doesn’t look too complicated

The maps look really good. It had the old Roblox lego style but is very detailed. The idea of making a game out of gear glitches is interesting as well!

It looks like it might be hard to tell where to go next, so adding some arrows to help the player navigate would help, like @Anquilis said.

I’m creating a Roblox Scripting YouTube Channel that I wish I had access to when I first joined in late 2008. I created it because I first started coding on Roblox, and now it has become my full time job. Plus I think programming is a lot of fun. Hopefully I can inspire some people to learn to code!

Thank you for your thoughts, am glad you find it interesting.

I actually did some rather light visual guidance using the glue surface texture (And if needed, different colored bricks) to highlight where the next bump, ramp, etc is at. I wanted it to be as subtle as possible and it appears that everybody knows where to go with them; however if it gets bad I’ll switch to a neon texture to highlight where to go.

Revamping my previous UI designs for a group I’m working with, here’s a police CAD/MDT GUI, along with a few other goodies.

Thank you for your thoughts as well, I appreciate it.

As I said with Anquilis I did some visual guidance using glue surface textures and if needed different color bricks to highlight where you need to go next while still being subtle and not out of place. I also found that people for the most part figured out rather quickly on where to go, but I’ll gladly make it more visible if need be. (Don’t really get a lot of players telling me if visual guidance is an issue as lots of people don’t provide feedback)
