I made snow system.
turns out this is very easy with Writevoxels, as i can simply save the top voxel from each chunk (which i already do for detecting grass placement) and both change the material and increase the occupancy.

that means i can not just have generic white ground, but also increase the height of the ground.

I threw this demonstration together tonight because it’s something I have been wanting to complete for a long time and I figured I should get some community feedback on the concept before I continue further. Please note that this will be vastly improved depending on the kind of feedback it receives from the community on wether this would be a beneficial service. I have done minimal database and UI work but the functionality is there for me to build off of.

Been working on a game with my friend. This is the first time I’ve really posted anything about it. We’re not revealing anything else at this time. Hopefully can have a playable beta in a month or so.
This is just a really small snippet of super early gameplay recently.
One of the hardest challenges is creating immersive gameplay while in space. Space is typically just emptiness, so we have to kinda create a bunch of illusions to make you feel like you’re in a dense environment.
