having 6000 containers, even when CSG’d is super laggy. The real ship supports 20k, no way I could do that lol. I already reduced detail by creating simpler csgs but I was still facing lag. I tried unioning a bunch of containers and met this modern art LOL
Ive completely remade my custom swimming mechanics from scratch in Object Oriented Programming. It is all around neater, and much better. It includes better screen effects, more sound design, drowning, better mechanics, and supports your equipped animations. To go along with it I have also created a skinned mesh ocean, with customizable properties such as: Height, speed, detail, direction, and eventually stuff like currents.
Super happy with the final outcome, especially for the sound design part.
