But I love this, you shouldn’t give it up. It’s such a unique art style. and it doesn’t even look all that bad. I mean it’s a wee bit rough around the edges but with a bit of refining I could see it being in a game

Uh, the first one is win he started, and then the second is 3 months later. He’s showing how he improved.
You may have heard of slow-scan television, some amateur radio operations use it.
I used the same principles (and a test card from Wikipedia) to create a “slow-scan television” display in Roblox.
The original image:
What I generated:
I used a Python library to get each pixel of the image, copied it into a module (which was slow, there are about 35,000 pixels), and made an ImageLabel with the same background color via Instance.new() for each one. I can get up to six times this speed, and probably more, but A) it isn’t obvious it’s being generated and B) it is very, very laggy for the client afterwards. I probably won’t use this in a live game, but it is a neat concept imo.
Working with Roblox’s new Material Manager. It makes the job for non terrain designers like me a lot easier.

You should watermark your work so people don’t steal it!
Been working on a placement system for a new city builder project that I started last Thursday. I’d say it’s pretty good for roughly a week of progress.
I made the entire placement system, the buildings I used from Roblox. But don’t let that deceive you, I spend a good few HOURS across a few days resizing them and making them work for this new game.
I know this isn’t anything compared to 99% of the other creations here, but it’s my little contribution. Lol.
yeah I know, and I’m saying that the one he did when he started looked nice, Not that the other one didn’t look nice. But the first one is just more unique to me. And I think it just needs a few more changes.
Looks great! Although the greenery on the wall does look a bit out of place…
It looks like its coming along well! One thing i will say is that the big city hall (if thats what it is) is misaligned by 1 stud.
