THE REINCARNATION MIRROR
Earlier this year, a scare-analog horror VHS tape project began. The project hopes to capture the same feelings and experiences of watching a horror movie on a VHS tape as it was originally intended. It also hopes to bring a sense of nostalgia to those who remember watching tapes during the 90s. For example, the project’s tapes include a special feature that replicates tracking issues, pixelation, and other common VHS tape problems. This can be seen when viewing a movie on a VHS tape.
I made it in Adobe After Effects.

I re-made almost every aspect of how my free-trial system works. Refer to this post to see how it originally looked and worked.
I decided to integrate the GUI directly into the plugin’s widget, if extant. I also added a countdown timer as well as always making the link visible and automating tasks like retrying to get information from Roblox APIs.
