Working on some silly little UI:

Along with that been learning about custom types, Its been really confusing, but in the end, its saved me so much time its crazy.

Yep. Basically wherever the ray lands, the light calculation is done, and then that light colour and brightness for that position is cached at those coordinates to avoid any more light processing.

Which basically means this bakes lights in real-time

GLORY TO CONQUEST

This is a short preview of an upcoming project I have been working on a lot recently. In Glory To Conquest, your goal is to expand your nation’s territory, economy, and political control as much as possible. The game is currently planned to be released in the next few months.

A few things that aren’t shown, but will be added/are already added:

  1. War System
  2. Units/Army
  3. Ranked Gamemode
  4. Map Editor and Publisher
  5. Ideology and Controlling Power
    etc.

(Side note: The video lags a bit, it is not from the game itself but the recording)

I really like the practicality and the Ui dynamics, but the Ui after clicking seems a bit generic, and the background animation is a bit repetitive. Maybe you can add a diverse set of animations for the background?

Just my 2 cents.
