Feedback on my latest game

This is my game!
If you find any bugs or have any game mode Ideas because Im planning to hit 100 game modes (idk if its possible just yet) please write them here and I will fix or think about the game mode if its suitable etc.

Also, I will give Supporter role to everyone who contributed! Also credits for the game modes will be next to the game mode name

Great game overall. I would make one or two more game modes free, so the players have some more diversity and want to stick around for longer. Maybe make the rounds a little longer as well. Other than those small nit picks, this game looks very good! Keep it up!

I remembered now I was planning to do intermission 30 seconds but forgot at 10 seconds because it was easier to test

Alright I will think that

What are your ideas for the game modes ?

The game idea is good, the game itself could just use some more polishing. Since you seem to be going for a classic theme, based on the trees and signs, you should consider using the Resurface plugin to convert certain textures to studs and more.

I’d suggest tweening the transparency of the floor tiles before removing them entirely to give the player a bit of time to react if a part they’re standing on is removed. I think this would help balance the random aspect of the game with skill.

As for new modes, you could try adding one where there are multiple layers of tiles, meaning that falling through the top layer won’t eliminate you instantly (you might already have a mode like this but I didn’t encounter it during my playtest). This is how I’ve typically seen the map done in games with a similar concept to yours.

Its the exact problem why I wont do it
But I might make it so its like a tower filled with enemies (like a terrain first grass dirt and rock and finally lava) so while you work around the enemies you try to not fall

Maybe I could make this in to a mode otherwise the game doesnt have the adrenaline of the tiles being able to dissapear anytime

put more monetization stuff, make it so if there’s only 1 or 2 players in the server they can choose the gamemode for free, also if there are only 1 or 2 players stop the game fast as soon as the players die, i died on the shuffle gamemode when i was alone and the game was still in progress. Also i’ve already seen games like these being posted here and almost all of them failed, also from the game name and from the thumbnails it seems like a cheap, badly made game

What would you expect from me? Im a single person unlike the game teams out there working with 5-10 different people. Also this two comparison is just enough to see that thumbnails and names have little to no effect on popularity:

I monetized the only in game currency so unless I find a good reason to monetize wins too its just as is. Also if the game will fail like you said than why bother?

Give me a better name and thumbnail for a tile game and lets talk. Perhaps a cool… thumbnail similiar to this?

You could, (if possible), make them move sideways as well. That make be hard to code, but that would increase the randomness if that’s what you really want here.

Could you explain a bit more? wouldn’t the tiles collide if I did so. Do you mean the tiles disappear and the neighbor tiles move in to the dissapeared tiles

Thank you for your ideas and help on making my game better

Some tiles turn to lava gradually, raining bombs, and there could be one murderer during a round. These are just some ideas i quickly came up with.

You could have the tiles switch places, turn on their side and knock players off their tile, stuff like that. If you want this to be a skilled based game, these would be some things to consider. This would also help with engagement.

I’m a solo developer too, i’ve made that thumbnail myself and also the game icon and scripted the whole game from scratch by myself

this just doens’t make me want to click on the game, idk what the game is about, there’s literally 0 seo

Why haven’t you made zero mentions on the two thumbnail comparisons i gave?

I wouldn’t wanted to click on a fat belly but seems that at least 4200 people had to be silly to click on a belly!

It has zero seo indeed
