you can call it a speed but in dev terms they’re magnitude
Messing around with simple building destruction. It’s a decent starting point to work off of.
Oh and 2 more weapons I made
how does the destruction work? ive been trying to add something exactly like that to my game
1: Make a part (like a wall)
2: Export it to blender
3: Use the “cell fracture” addon to break it into pieces (You may have to subdivide the mesh a little first)
4: Export the pieces back to Roblox
5: Group and anchor the pieces
6: Then when you want the wall to break just swap the model for the broken one and unachor it.
You can likely infer the rest after some experimentation and research, good luck!
screenshots from an ARG-type thing i’m working on, inspired half by Dream Game (the infamous yume nikki fangame) and 4slug and iltria’s games
trying to see if i can get ambient occlusion proxies working (it sucks)
That looks really good. Just for interest could you tell us the poly count and texture sizes you used?
3512 tris, texture is 1024x1024
Improving my UI design skills more. Thought this was post-worthy since it looks pretty cool. Based off the MW 2019 content warning screen:
The image on the screen is a placeholder but it fits nicely I think.
I will say for a beginner its pretty solid, however it definitely lacks in most areas especially when compared to mw19’s UI. I understand roblox has a ton of UI limitations however you could still add more with gradients and patterns using image labels.
Wow, love it man! Such a nice style
I’m trying to remake an old (and very poorly-made) game I did a few years ago. The whole plot is just that you’re walking home from a convenience store during a rainy night, but this time 'round I’m trying to build everything myself instead of using free models XD Starting with the convenience store, of course.
(The backside is pretty bland, but I’m planning on adding a door… somewhere)
The exterior was fine enough to build, but I might have not thought the floorplan through…
I have absolutely 0 idea where to place the checkout register, so I’m thinking of expanding the leftmost side to make room or something, what do you guys think?
(it was based off of this image)
Hello everyone!
I’m new to Roblox and devforum. nice to meet you all

this is handpainted (base color only)

Hope you enjoy!
First (working) attempt at a creature collector, currently working on getting catch and specials system to function (the encounter script is 350+ lines i’m going insane)
